Angela Martin, CRPC® BFA™

Founder and Personal Wealth Advisor
angela@wealthplanpartner.com

My journey in financial planning began with a deeply personal experience that shaped my mission. When my grandfather passed away, my grandmother was left to live on Social Security alone. Witnessing the financial challenges she faced firsthand inspired me to pursue a career in finance, beginning as a stockbroker for a well-known Wall Street firm. However, I quickly realized that the industry’s approach often prioritized sales over meaningful, personalized financial planning. I knew I wanted to help families achieve financial security in a way that truly served their best interests.

This commitment led me to establish my own independent firm, where I could offer objective guidance tailored to each client’s unique needs. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life, helping them build confidence and long-term financial security.

Every day, I strive to enhance the experience we provide to our clients. With a team that shares my values and vision, I’m confident that WealthPlan Partner will continue to grow and make a lasting impact in our community.

Learn More About Me

If you had a million dollars to spend, what would be the first three things you’d buy?

A horse ranch, a sports car, and a super long vacation with my family.

What’s the most likely place people could find you on a Saturday night?

Either out enjoying live music or snuggled by the fire watching a movie.

Would you rather live on the beach or near the mountains?

Beach in the summer, mountains in the winter—the best of both worlds!

If a genie granted you three wishes, what would they be?

A lightning-fast metabolism, an impeccable memory, and lifelong good health.

If you could give your 18-year-old self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Trust yourself. It's all going to work out because you're resilient.

After growing up in New Hampshire and going to college in Boston and Denver, I decided I wanted to live in a warmer climate. I moved to San Diego shortly after graduate school. Since then, I've held positions as a financial advisor, investment advisor representative, and branch manager before starting our office in 2000.
